ABOUT DR MINHAZ KARIM

For more than two decades, Dr. Karim has been practicing medicine in a format called Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) where the patient remains at the very center of his philosophy. He does this through the coordination of the patient’s care across various healthcare settings, leading the care of his patients and their families with timely interventions through appropriate labs/imaging/referrals, etc., involving other ancillary staff where necessary.
His amicable nature and well-rounded persona coupled with proficient knowledge in medicine have earned the respect of his peers, voted three times as TOP DOCS over the last five years since he moved to South Jersey. Prior to his move, he was an Internist for 13 years in Milwaukee, where he has undoubtedly touched a great many souls of Wisconsinites. His humble beginning was in a small country called Bangladesh, where he graduated at the top of his class. In 1998, he moved to the United States following the footsteps of his two older siblings and their spouses - all belonging to the same fraternity of doctors. He has been happily married to an Infectious Disease doctor and loves spending time with their only son, who has kept them grounded.
A die-hard Packers fan and an avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Karim played a variety of sports from soccer and volleyball to field hockey. He led the high school and college teams in basketball and cricket and was a school champion in table tennis, squash, and tennis. Later, he was voted “Sportsman of the year” twice by his peers in medical school. Dr. Karim was also the cultural secretary, and his multidimensional interests include the rare hobby of Philately (stamp collecting). He has an immense interest in contemporary arts and designs, leading to drawing/ building their own contemporary house without the guidance of an Architect or an Interior Designer.
Amidst all his busy schedules, nothing beats Dr. Karim’s eagerness in spending time with his loving wife and son, either strolling down the local streets or going out on a not-so-far-away trip with them - to him, that’s always PRICELESS!
